Section 1. Approves the City Manager's Alternative Number 2 - <br /> hiring of a Fire Chief, Assistant Fire Chief, two police- <br /> men and reassignment of Captains to shift duty. <br /> <br />Section 2. Approves the City Manager's recommendation that avail- <br /> able manpower in the fire division, after implementation <br /> of alternative Number 2, be assigned so that there will <br /> be a minimum four-man engine company at Station 1, and <br /> <br />minimum two-man engine companies at Station 2 and 3. <br />Section 3. Directs staff to fill the positions authorized by this <br /> <br /> resolution and make changes in the fire division structur~ <br /> in accordance with the provisions of the City of Pleasan- <br /> ton's Personnel Rules as set forth in Resolutions No.71- <br /> 73 and 71-74, and any amendments thereto; and~ where <br /> <br /> applicable Government Code Section 3500, et sequeter. <br /> <br />Section 4. Authorizes an amendment to the 1976-77 fiscal budget <br /> for the Department of Public Safety by an amount neces- <br /> sary to achieve the purposes of this resolution. Said <br /> <br /> monies shall be appropriated from the unallocated reserve. <br />Section 5.
