~EREAS, <br /> <br />WHE REA S, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-87 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />APPROXIMATELY 1.42 ACRES LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF <br />SONOMA DRIVE BETWEEN JUNIPERO STREET AND DEVELOPED <br />LOTS TO THE SOUTH OF JUNIPERO STREET FROM RM-2500 <br />(MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT TO THE PUD (PLANNED <br />UNIT DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of March 28, 1977, <br />received a proposed negative declaration for application <br />of Jack Bras for P & M Development to rezone approximately <br />1.42 acres located on the west side of Sonoma Drive between <br />Junipero Street and developed lots on the south of Junipero <br />Street from ~{-2500 (Multiple Residential) District to the <br />PUD (Planned Unit Development) District and for approval of <br />a development plan for a proposed 13-unit "garden court" <br />home subdivision on the 1.42 acre site; and <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed development is <br />appropriate for the area in which it would be located, <br />therefore, they concur with the Planning Commission on <br />March 9, 1977, and recommend approval of PUD-77; and <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of <br />the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared <br />for the project; and <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of March 28, 1977, also <br />received that Initial Study dated February 18, 1977; and <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution <br />No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been published <br />in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation; <br />and <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact <br />Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. <br /> <br /> <br />
