~EREAS, WHE REA S, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, WHEREAS, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-87 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR APPROXIMATELY 1.42 ACRES LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF SONOMA DRIVE BETWEEN JUNIPERO STREET AND DEVELOPED LOTS TO THE SOUTH OF JUNIPERO STREET FROM RM-2500 (MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT TO THE PUD (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT the City Council, at its meeting of March 28, 1977, received a proposed negative declaration for application of Jack Bras for P & M Development to rezone approximately 1.42 acres located on the west side of Sonoma Drive between Junipero Street and developed lots on the south of Junipero Street from ~{-2500 (Multiple Residential) District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) District and for approval of a development plan for a proposed 13-unit "garden court" home subdivision on the 1.42 acre site; and staff has determined that the proposed development is appropriate for the area in which it would be located, therefore, they concur with the Planning Commission on March 9, 1977, and recommend approval of PUD-77; and an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared for the project; and the City Council at its meeting of March 28, 1977, also received that Initial Study dated February 18, 1977; and each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed environmental assessment, which had been published in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation; and the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports.
