CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-132 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT 77-2 (MORRISON HOMES' CREEK'S <br />BEND PROJECT) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Morrison Homes Corporation owns approximately 23 acres <br />of land south of the existing Del Valle Parkway and <br />immediately east of Hopyard Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council received a staff report of May 2, 1977 <br />regarding said project which included, as an attachment, <br />a memorandum of April 5, 1977 regarding the environmental <br />impact report for said project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said memorandum of April 5, 1977 made reference to a two <br />volume environmental impact report dated April 9, 1975 <br />and revision thereto of June, 1976 which had previously <br />been submitted to the City Council in conjunction with <br />rezoning RZ-76-6 and planned unit development plan PUD <br />76-3; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council held a public hearing prior to considera- <br />tion of said environmental documents at which time the <br />developer and any person desiring to speak on the envi- <br />ronmental impact report was afforded an opportunity to <br />speak; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />after closing the public hearing the City Council delib- <br />erated on the sufficiency of the environmental impact <br />report, proposed mitigation measures, and adverse, non- <br />mitigable impacts. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />1. The environmental impact report of April 9, 1975 and <br /> revision of June, 1976, together with the Pacific Gas <br /> and Electric Conservation Home Program and the Energy <br /> Conservation Report for proposed Tract 3686, are in <br /> compliance with and meet the requirements for an envi- <br /> ronmental impact report established by the Environmental <br /> Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City <br /> Council by Resolution No. 77-66, adopted on February 28, <br /> 1977. <br /> <br />Section <br /> <br />2. The project will have certain significant adverse <br /> impacts upon the environment which are identified in <br /> Paragraph E.1 of the April 9, 1975 draft environmental <br /> impact report, which include: <br /> <br /> <br />
