spaces in addition to those shown on the original submittal
for PUD-77-4.

b. The explanation of paragraph II-16(d) is revised to read
as follows:

The City of Pleasanton is presently allocating resi-
dential sewer connections pursuant to an allocation
program established by Resolution No. 76-83. Pursuant
to the terms of said resolution available sewage capac-
ity is established in April of each year and projects
may qualify for available sewer capacity allocated by
the City of Pleasanton depending upon the stage of
development. The allocation program was established
in order to insure that there would be equal treatment
of developers pending the phaseout of the City's Sunol
Sewage Treatment Plant into the Valley Community Ser-
vices District facility and in order to allow the City
to meet its General Plan goals as to the allocation
between single family residential, multiple family
residential and commercial-industrial development.
In addition, the program was established in order to
insure that the City would be able to monitor the
impact of additional sewage upon the Sunol Plant pend-
ing complete phaseout of said plant. In making its
determinations as to the number of units to be allo-
cated each year, the City Council takes into consider-
ation the number of outstanding single-family equiva-
lent dwelling unit sewer connections that have been
authorized but not yet connected to the Sunol Sewage
Treatment Plant. At the present time roughly 278
single-family dwelling unit equivalent connections
are outstanding, which is equal to a total of approxi-
mately 0.078 million gallons per day. The proposed
development would add approximately 0.008 million gal-
lons per day of sewage to the Sunol Plant. The pro-
posed project is included within the properties subject
to the judgment of Morrison Homes vs. City of Pleasanton
and thus, can qualify for sewage capacity available at
the Sunol Plant pending the adoption of a growth manage-
ment plan which is anticipated to be adopted some time
in the latter part of 1977.

Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and adoption.

THIS RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED ON JUNE 27, 1977 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:

AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, LeClaire, Mercer and Mayor Philcox

NOES: None ~

ABSENT: Councilmember Herlihy
ATTEST:

Doris George, Deputy~ity Clerk
~h C. ~c~zdig
City Attorney

R BE%IC.
