CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-179 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A PROPOSED <br />28 UNIT CONDOMINIUM PROJECT TO BE CONSTRUCTED AT BLACK AVENUE <br />AND HOPYARD ROAD. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of June 13, 1977, received <br />a proposal for a negative declaration for a 28 unit condomin- <br />ium project to be constructed at Black Avenue and Hopyard <br />Road (PUD-77-4); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant <br />to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted <br />by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution <br />No. 77-76; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said Initial Study, which was included in the City Council <br />packet, determined that the project would not have a signifi- <br />cant effect upon the environment provided certain mitigation <br />measures are undertaken and incorporated into the project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council opened the public hearing and continued the <br />same regarding said environmental impact assessment to its <br />meeting of June 27, 1977; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of June 27, 1977, reopened <br />the public hearing and took public testimony with respect to <br />the proposed negative declaration; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council reviewed the provisions of the City's Guide- <br />lines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects <br />and the preparation of environmental impact report ~as they <br />pertain to requirements for negative declara~4i~'s~d environ- <br />mental impact reports in order to determine if a negative <br />declaration is appropriate for the project and what mitigation <br />measures must be undertaken to ensure that the project will <br />not have a significant upon the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Determines after reviewing the City's Guideline~ relating <br /> to the preparation of environmental impact reports that a <br /> negative declaration is appropriate for the proposed 28 unit <br /> condominium project to be constructed at Black Avenue and <br /> Hopyard Road, provided certain mitigation measures are under- <br /> taken. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Council adopts by reference the mitigation measures <br /> identified in the Initial Study attached hereto and incorpora- <br /> ted herein by reference with the following changes: <br /> <br />Paragraph 13(b) is identified as a maybe ~Jt is subject <br />to mitigation by the addition of six more on-site parking <br /> <br /> <br />
