CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-195 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE MEMORANDUM OF <br />UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />AND THE PLEASANTON CITY EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION <br />AND FIXING SALARIES AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOY- <br />MENT FOR ENUMERATED CLASSES OF EMPLOYEES, AND <br />AMENDING THE PRELIMINARY 1977-78 BUDGET ACCORDINGLY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, THE City of Pleasanton, acting through the City Manager as employer <br /> representative of the City Council, and the Pleasanton City Employees <br /> Association have met and conferred pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Section 3500, et. seq., of the Government Code in regard to wages, <br /> hours and other terms and conditions of employment for members of <br /> the Pleasanton City Employees Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the above meeting and conferring process a Memorandum <br /> <br /> of Understanding dated July 20, 1977, was entered into between the City <br /> Manager and representatives of the Pleasanton City Employees Associa- <br /> tion; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Memorandum of Understanding was presented to the City Council <br /> <br /> at the regular meeting of July 25, 1977; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there are employees not represented by the Pleasanton City Employees <br /> Association to whom the City Council wishes to provide salary adjust- <br /> <br /> ments and benefits in order that all employees are treated fairly; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council on May 16, 1977, by Resolution No. 77-143, approved <br /> <br /> the City Manager's proposed Preliminary Budget for the 1977-78 Fiscal <br /> Year. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1.
