AGREEMENT This Agreement, made this 5th day of July, 1977, by and between the City of Pleasanton hereinafter designated as "City" and South County Conununity College District, hereinafter designated as the "College." WITNESSETH WHEREAS, the CITY desires educational services from the COLLEGE for certain employees of the CITY and, WHEREAS, the COLLEGE is willing to provide those services for the consideration and under the conditions listed herein and, WHEREAS funds for these services are provided by the City of Pleasanton, NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: 1. Instructors. The COLLEGE will provide instructors, clinical supervision and evaluators. 2. Hours of Instruction. The COLLEGE agrees to provide approximately 298 hours of instruction by credentialed community college instructors to the City's employees during the period of this Agreement. The period of time for the hours of instruction shall occur during the fall of 1977. 3. Equipment and Supplies. It is understood that equipment and supplies to be supplied will be provided by the CITY and the COLLEGE. 4. Contract Amount. The maximum amount payable of this Agreement may not exceed $6,525. during the period of this Agreement. This Agreement is comprised of the following: Instructors Salaries: 298 Hours @ $15.00 = $4,470. Evaluators 750. Administrative Costs . 1,305. TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT $6,525. 5. Status of College Employees. The COLLEGE is an independent contractor and its employees remain employees of the College District and are not employees of the Cith in the performance of this Agreement.
