CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-187 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST FROM MARK LAWRENCE <br />FOR A HOLDING TANK FOR SKATE WORLD ON JOHNSON INDUS- <br />TRIAL DRIVE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Mr. Mark Lawrence has received approval from the City Plan- <br />ning Commission for a conditional use permit to construct a <br />skate board park entitled, Skate World, in the Johnson In- <br />dustrial Drive area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Mr. Lawrence has requested a private sewage disposal system <br />to serve the above property since sewage capacity is not <br />available at the Valley Community Services District Plant, <br />which serves this area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Lawrence's request was considered by the City Council <br /> at its meeting of July 11, 1977. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RE- <br />SOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council approves the request by Mark Lawrence <br /> for a holding tank to serve "Skate World" on Johnson Indus- <br /> trial Drive, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />That the property owner enter into a standard holding <br />tank agreement with the City prior to issuance of a <br />building permit for this development. The mayor is <br />authorized to execute said agreement subject to approval <br />by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />2. That approval be granted for a one year period. <br /> <br />That applicant acknowledge in writing, prior to issu- <br />ance of a building permit, his understanding of the <br />time limit of this approval and that the City Council <br />is not obligated to automatically grant approval for <br />continued use of the holding tank. <br /> <br />That the holding tank be pumped out at least once <br />every fourteen (14) days and as frequently as may be <br />required to properly dispose of the sewage generated <br />by this development. <br /> <br />5. That detailed plans showing the location, construc- <br />tion materials and details, as well as all other pertinent <br />data concerning this holding tan~ be submitted to and ap- <br />proved by the Director of Engineering Services prior to <br />the issuance of a building permit. This information <br />should include plans for the future connection to the <br />sewer system and a quantity and cost estimate for this <br />future connection. <br /> <br /> <br />
