CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-212 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1977-78 OPERATING BUDGET AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM. WHEREAS, the Acting City Manager did present to the City Council a Preliminary Proposed Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Year 1977-78; and WHEREAS, meetings were held where the Proposed Preliminary Budget was reviewed and Public Hearings were held to afford the public the opportunity to speak; and WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 77-143 approving the Preliminary Operating Budget with the changes set forth as Exhibit A of Resolution No. 77-143. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Preliminary Operating Budget as approved by Resolution No. 77-143, including the changes as set forth in Exhibit A to said resolution, is adopted as the 1977-78 Operating Budget with the following changes to the General Fund: a. Place monies appropriated for the Seismic Study in the reserve for future consideration b. Eliminate Funding for the Assistant Fire Chief Position and place the monies in the reserve c. Add the following three positions to the Public Safety Department at a total 1977-78 cost of: 1. Dispatcher 2. Fireman 3. Police Lieutenant $12,000. 31,468. 54,000. Section 2. That the 1977-78 Budget as approved by Resolution No. 77-143 will be adjusted to reflect salary adjustments made as a result of labor negotiations for general employees, police and fire personnel, and recommendation of the City Manager and City Attorney for management and confidential employees under their respective jurisdictions, and for City Manager and City Attorney. Section 3. That the Capital Improvement Program presented to the City Council by the City Manager be adopted as the 1977-78 Capital Improvement Program with the following amendments:
