CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-234 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR A HOLD~ ING TANK FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6900 VALLEY TRAILS DRIVE, PLEASANTON WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and Design Review Board approved the design review and conditional use for the construc- tion and operation of a church facility at 6900 Valley Trails Drive; and WHEREAS, on April 25, 1977, the City Council denied a request for utilization of a septic tank at the above site due to the large number of homes near the church site, the nature of the soil, and the proximity of operating water wells to the proposed septic tank site; and WHEREAS, a request was received from Mr. Donald Scheer, Building Committee Chairman for Evangelical Free Church, for ap- proval of a sewage holding tank to serve the proposed development; and WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of August 23, 1977, con- sidered a report from the Director of Engineering Services dated August 16, 1977, together with attachments thereto, pertaining to a request for a holding tank by the Evan- gelical Free Church at 6900 Valley Trails Drive. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RE- SOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the application of the Evangelical Free Church for the establishment of a holding tank at 6900 Valley Trails Drive, subject to the following conditions: That the property owner enter into a standard holding tank agreement with the City and ap- proved by the City Attorney prior to issuance of a building permit for this development. 2. That approval for the holding tank be granted for a one (1) year period. That applicant acknowledge in writing, prior to issuance of a building permit, its under- standing of the time limit of this approval and that the City Council is not obligated to auto- matically grant approval for continued use of the holding tank and that it is aware of and prepared for the probable monthly pumping charge, estimated to be approximately $725.00 per month based on the applicant's estimated sewage vol- ume.
