CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-232 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A COMPENSATION PLAN FIXING SALARIES AND FRINGE BENEFITS FOR MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL PERSONNEL FOR THE CITY OF PLEASANTON NOT INCLUDING THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 76-163 AND AMENDING THE 1977-78 BUDGET ACCORDINGLY WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the establishment and designation of employees as management and confidential employees; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared and submitted a compensation plan recommending salary ranges and fringe benefits for fiscal year 1977-78 for those employees under his Jurisdiction; and WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared and submitted a compensation plan recommending salaries and fringe benefits for fiscal year 1977-78 for those employees under his jurisdiction; and WHEREAS, the City Council has previously, by Resolution No. 77-171, directed that salary range and fringe benefit increases for management and confidential employees for fiscal year 1977-78 he granted retroactive to July 1, 1977; and WHEREAS, the City Council had previously, by Resolution No. 76-163, adopted a compensation plan for the above employees, which resolution must now be repealed. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 2. The salary ranges and fringe benefits for management employees for the period commencing July 1, 1977, and ending June 30, 1978, shall be as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. The City Manager is authorized, at his discretion, to grant additional salary adjustments to select management positions as the City Manager may deem appropriate, upon approval by the City Council of a reorgani- zation plan to be prepared and submitted by the City Manager to the City Council. Said salary adjustments may be granted by the City Manager retroactive to July 1, 1977. However, the total dollar amount of said salary adjustments shall not exceed 1.5% of total management salaries as of July 1, 1977. Section 3. The salary ranges and fringe benefit increases for confidential employees for the period commencing July 1, 1977, and ending June 30, 1978, shall be as set forth in Exhibit B attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Section 4. The 1977-78 Budget of the City of Pleasanton is amended accordingly.
