LEGAL ASSISTANT <br /> <br />For the period commencing July 1, 1977 and ending June 30, 1978, the <br />Salary and Fringe Benefits for this position shall be: <br /> <br />I. Position and Salary: <br /> <br />Establish the classification of Legal Assistant subject to <br />the clarification of job description by the personnel divi- <br />sion of the City Manager's office in conjunction with the <br />advice and assent of the City Attorney and legal secretary. <br /> <br />Salary: $1348 per month for Legal Assistant, a range to be <br />determined during fiscal year 1977-78 and recommended for in- <br />clusion in the 1978-79 fiscal year salary resolution for <br />Management and Confidential Employees. <br /> <br />II. Fringe Benefits <br /> <br />Effective July 1, 1977, the City's maximum contribution to- <br />ward the premiums of the current health insurance plans shall <br />be increased to $65.00 per month. <br /> <br />Effective January 1, 1978, the City's maximum contribution to- <br />ward the premiums of the current dental insurance plan shall <br />be increased to $19.00 per month. <br /> <br />Effective July 1, 1977, may be compensated for overtime <br />worked either by monetary payment or by compensatory time off, <br />at the option of the employee. Compensatory time shall accrue <br />at the Eate of one and oneshalf times the overtime hours worked. <br />Compensatory time off which accrues in excess of forty (40) <br />hours must be liquidated by monetary payment. All monetary <br />payments for overtime must be paid not later than the next <br />bi-weekly payroll following the pay period in which the over- <br />time was worked. Utilization of compensatory time off shall <br />be by mutual agreement between the department head and the <br />employee. <br /> <br />Deletion of each statewide election day as a holiday, sub- <br />stituting therefor one (1) floating holiday to be credited <br />to each employee on July 1 of each year to be observed on a <br />date mutually agreed to by the individual employee and the <br />department head. Such floating holiday shall be scheduled <br />at least fifteen (15) days prior t o the observance of such <br />floating holiday and once scheduled may not be changed un- <br />less mutually agreed by the employee and the department head. <br />Such floating holiday shall be taken in the fiscal year in <br />which it is credited. <br /> <br />5. Payroll deduction if wishes to join and participate in the <br /> City and County Credit Union. <br /> <br />EXHIBIT "B" <br /> <br /> <br />
