BRO~ <br /> <br />Replacement of On-Dut~ Fire Lieutenants <br /> <br />Effective with the signing of the new Memorandum of Understanding <br />with Local 1974, IAFF, when through illness, injury, vacation, etc., <br />it becomes necessary to fill an on-duty Fire Lieutenant's position <br />the following procedures shall be followed: <br /> <br />1- No firefighter shall be assigned as acting fire lieutenant <br /> unless approved by myself in accordance with Section 1302 of <br /> the personnel Rules. <br /> <br />2. When a fire lieutenant must be replaced in Stations 2 or 3, <br /> his position shall be filled through the transfer of the <br /> on-duty lieutenant assigned to Station 1. <br /> <br />3. In accordance with existing procedures, when daily staffing <br /> falls below acceptable levels necessitating the filling. of <br /> more than one fire lieutenant position through call back of <br /> off-duty personnel, fire lieutenants shall be called back <br /> to fill fire lieutenant vacancies. <br /> <br /> <br />
