WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-291 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A <br />PROPOSED EXPANSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ADMINI- <br />STRATIVE OFFICES - CIVIC CENTER COMPLEX LOCATED AT <br />200 BERNAL AVENUE. <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of October 25, 1977, received <br />a proposed negative declaration for an expansion of the City <br />of Pleasanton Administrative offices at 200 Bernal Avenue; <br />and <br /> <br />said proposal was based upon an Initial Study done pursuant <br />to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted <br />by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution <br />No. 77-66; and <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of October 25, 1977, received <br />the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration in a <br />report from the City Manager's office dated, October 14, <br />1977, regarding expansion of the City's civic center area; <br />and <br /> <br />the City Council was advised by the City Attorney of their <br />responsibilities in reviewing the proposed Negative Decla- <br />ration and the determinations required by Section 5.4(e) <br />of Resolution No. 77-66; and <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had before them copies <br />of Resolution No. 77-66 at the time of Considering the <br />proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been previously <br />published in the Pleasanton Times; and <br /> <br />upon receipt of the staff report and public input, the <br />City Council reviewed the provisions of the City's Guide- <br />lines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of <br />projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact <br />Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports in order to <br />determine if a Negative Declaration is appropriate for <br />the project and what mitigation measures must be undertaken <br />to ensure that the project will not have a significant <br />effect upon the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council reviewed the contents of Resolution <br /> No. 77-66 (Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures) <br /> as they pertain to the requirements for Negative Declarations <br /> <br /> <br />
