CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-301 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF CHRIS BERATLIS IN <br />CASE AP~77-9 FOR A VARIANCE FOR PARKING AT 287 BERNAL <br />AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of November 8, 1977, re- <br />ceived a report of November 1, 1977 from the Director of <br />Planning regarding the appeal of Chris Beratlis to a de- <br />cision of the Board of Adjustment denying a variance to <br />the requirements of the Ordinance Code of the City of <br />Pleasanton to allow the construction of an addition to <br />an office building located at 287 Bernal Avenue, which <br />would encroach into the required side yard and which would <br />have less parking than required by Code; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />attached to the Staff Report of November 1, 1977, is a copy <br />of the Staff Report to the Board of Adjustment of September 14, <br />1977 and a copy of Resolution No. R-77-14 of the Board of Ad- <br />justment denying Case V-77-13 for the above variance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />City Council held a public hearing at which time Mr. Beratlis <br />and any other member of the public was afforded an opportunity <br />to address the Council regarding this matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />upon close of the public hearing, the City Council deliberated <br />upon the information presented at the public hearing and the <br />information contained in the Staff Report and Board of Adjust- <br />ment resolution. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Denies the appeal of Chris Beratlis for a variance to the <br /> requirements of the Ordinance Code to allow the construction <br /> of an addition to an office building located at 287 Bernal <br /> Avenue and incorporates, by reference, the findings set forth <br /> in Resolution No. R-77-14 of the Board of Adjustment denying <br /> V-77-13 filed by Mr. Chris Beratlis. Said resolution is at- <br /> tached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit <br /> <br />Section 2.
