CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-020 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION UPHOLDING THE APPEAL AND THEREBY <br />APPROVING APPLICATIONS FOR: 1) ADMINISTRATIVE <br />DESIGN REVIEW TO REMODEL AND CONSTRUCT AN <br />APPROXIMATELY 2,266 SQ. FT. ONE- AND TWO-STORY <br />ADDITION TO THE EXISTING 1,320 SQ. FT. DWELLING, <br />AND 2) A MODIFICATION TO THE DESIGN REVIEW <br />APPROVAL FOR A SECOND UNIT TO INCREASE THE <br />OVERALL HEIGHT OF THE SECOND UNIT FROM 14 <br />FEET TO 15 FEET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of January 26, 2000, the Planning Commission overturned the <br />Zoning Administrator's approval of: 1) an application to construct an <br />approximately 2,266 square foot addition to the existing dwelling; and 2) an <br />application to increase the height of the previously approved second unit by one <br />foot (from 14 feet to 15 feet) for the property located at 4128 Stanley Boulevard; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, Jack Chestnut (the <br /> property owner) filed an appeal of the Planning Commission's decision; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-i-20,000 District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />actions of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); therefore, no environmental <br />document was prepared for this proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the proposed design of the house addition and <br /> modification to the second unit height are appropriate. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
