CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-120 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING DEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR A COMMERCIAL <br />COMPLEX FILED BY MERLE TELFOP~ U~ER APPLICATION NO. Z-78-46, <br />TO BE LOCATED AT 201 MAIN STREET. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />An application for design review approval for development of <br />a commercial complex to be located at 201 Main Street, <br />immediately north of the old Post Office building, was reviewed <br />and approved by the Planning Commission on April 12,1978; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />The zoning for the property is C-C/C-O (Central Commercial/Civic <br />Overlay) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Sec. 2-9.10 of Article 15, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance <br />Code of the City requires that design plans for construction <br />of property to be located within the Civic Overlay District be <br />reviewed by the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City Council reviewed said development plans on May 9, 1978. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />The City Council approves the development plans for 201 Main <br />Street, filed under Z-78-46, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. That the development be constructed substantially as <br />shown on the site plan, elevations and landscape plan, Exhibit A, <br />on file with the Planning Division, except as modified by <br />Conditions 4-7 below and except that the curbcut on Main <br />Street be 24 ft. in width. <br /> <br />2. That <br />approval <br />detailed <br />separate <br /> <br />approval of these plans does not constitute <br />of signing for the project and that a comprehensive <br />signing program for the project be submitted under <br />application. <br /> <br />3. That <br />approval <br />attached <br /> <br />approval of this case is conditioned upon the <br />of Case V-78-5 and any conditions which may be <br />thereto by the Board of Adjustment. <br /> <br />4. That Building B tie in with Main Street by having the <br />first shop face Main Street or have its entrance at a <br />diagonal, thus facing both Main Street and the parking <br />area. This shop shall also have a larger amount of window <br />area on Main Street to break up the stucco facade. <br />In addition, the Main Street facade shall have additional <br />wood detailing which will also break up the facade and tie <br />it in with Main Street. <br /> <br /> <br />
