Termination <br />The payment of severance pay shall terminate during <br />the two month period at such time as the employee is <br />re-employed by the City or refuses an offer of re- <br />employment with the City. <br /> <br />Section 2. Adopts the following health insurance continuation policy: <br /> <br />General Provisions <br />In order to provide continued health insurance coverage <br />through December 31, 1978, to those full time, permanent <br />or probationary employees laid off as a result of the <br />passage of Proposition 13, the City shall contribute <br />up to a maximum of $65.00 per month toward the cost of <br />either Kaiser or Blue Cross health insurance provided, <br />however, said laid off employees elect to make their <br />required monthly contributions. <br /> <br />Termination <br />The City's monthly contributions toward the cost of <br />continuing health insurance coverage through December 31, <br />1978, shall terminate at such time as the employee ceases <br />to make his/her required monthly contribution, is re- <br />employed by the City, or refuses an offer of re-employ- <br />ment with the City. <br /> <br />Section 3.
