CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 78-197 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />PAVEMENT WIDENING, SANTA RITA ROAD AND WEST LAS POS- <br />ITAS BOULEVARD, PROJECT NO. 78-7 AND AUTHORIZING CAL- <br />LING FOR BIDS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />the Director of Engineering Services, by his report dated <br />August 2, 1978, advised the City Council that plans and <br />specifications had been completed for the Pavement Widening, <br />Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas, Project No. 78-7 and <br />that said plans had been reviewed by staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at their meeting of August 8, 1978, reviewed <br />the report of the Director of Engineering Services, dated August <br />2, 1978 relating to the project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br /> Approves the plans and specifications for the Pavement Widen- <br />lng, Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas, Project No. 78-7 <br />and allocates an additional $11,000 to this project. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorizes the calling of bids in the above project. <br /> <br />Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON AUGUST 8, 1978 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: CoUncilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />NOES: None ~c <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~!
