CITY OF PLEASANTON IN THE COUNTY OF ALAMEDA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 78-267 lIE: APPROVING VACATION OF A PORTION OF NORTHWAY ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY WHEREAS, on October 3, 1978, the City Council did, by Resolution No. 78-248, indicate its intention to vacate a portion of Northway Road right-of-way in order to make a slight adjust- ment to the northeast property line on the curve in North- way Road, as requested by developer Morrison Homes; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 78-249 set October 10, 1978, in the City Council Chambers, 30 West Angela Street, Pleasanton, at 8:00 P.M., as the date, time and place at which, pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, evidence and objections to the proposed street vacation would be heard; and at the hearing on October 10, 1978, evidence regarding said proposed street vacation was heard and considered which indicated that retention of the area proposed to be vacated was no longer necessary for present or prospective street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The vacation of a portion of Northway Road, more particu- larly described in Exhibit A and shown on Exhibit B, attached hereto and forming a part hereof, is hereby approvedo Section 2. The appropriate City officials are authorized to execute a quitclaim deed to Morrison Homes, Inc., to be recorded in the office of the Alameda County Recorder, together with a copy of this resolution. Section 3. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
