CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 78-266 A RESOLUTION APPROVING ~NDMENTS TO THE GENERAL PLAN RELATING TO LAND USE DESIGNATIONS. WHEREAS, Mr. Joe Elia requested that the City of Pleasanton General Plan be amended to change the land use designation of a 2 acre site located immediately westerly of 4444 Black Avenue from Public and Institutional to Commercial and Offices; and WHEREAS, Mr. Ted Myers requested that the City of Pleasanton General Plan be amended to change the land use designation of a 10 acre parcel located on the east side of Santa Rita Road about 225 feet north of Mohr Avenue from Public and Institu- tional to Commercial and Offices; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its meeting of September 13, 1978, considered GP-78-4 and GP-78-5, together with the Negative Declarations on said proposed amendments; and WHEREAS , the Planning Commission recommended that the General Plan be amended to change land use densignations of these two parcels; and WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of October 10, 1978, con- sidered reports of October 4, 1978, together with attachments from the Director of Planning, regarding the proposed General Plan Amendments; and WHEREAS, the City Council, by Resolutions 78-264 and 78-265, deter- mined that Negative Declarations were appropriate for the proposed General Plan Amendments; and ~IEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing with respect to the General Plan Amendments at which time any member of the public was offered the opportunity to address the City Council on said amendments; and WHEREAS, after the close of the public hearing the City Council delib- erated upon the proposed amendmentsconsidering the information set forth in the staff reports of October 4, 1978, and attachments thereto, as well as the information contained in the initial studies leading to the Negative Declarations for said projects. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council approves amendments to the General Plan adopted on February 9, 1976, by Resolution 76-26, as follows:
