CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 79-72 APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT PREPARED AND FILED UNDER APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF PUD-78-1 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton met on April 24, 1979, and held a public hearing on the application for PUD-78-1; and WHEREAS, that application provides for a hillside development plan for a 10-lot single-family residential subdivision on an approximately 50-acre site located northwesterly of the existing terminus of Longview Drive; and WHEREAS, an environmental impact report was prepared and submitted to the City Council along with the application; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Council finds that the environmental impact report pre- pared is complete, sufficient and acceptable for the pro- ject proposed. Section 2~ That the Planning Commission has reviewed and considered the information contained in the environmental impact report. Section 3. The City Council makes the following findings: (1) That the Environmental Impact Report for the proposed project has been completed in compliance with the' California Environmental Quality Act and state guide- lines. (2) That the City Council has reviewed and considered the information contained in the Environmental Impact Report prior to the approval of the project. (3) That the Environmental Impact Report sets forth, at page 30, eleven unavoidable adverse impacts. (4) That the project as conditioned by the Planning Com- mission and the City Council will significantly miti- gate all listed impacts except "that the project would disrupt a natural woodland habitat in this area." (5) The over-all value to the community of having the pro- posed hillside planned development project with forty- one acres of open space and the elimination of the existing erosion pattern on the hillside in the area are overriding considerations permitting the disrup- tion of the woodland habitat in this area.
