Examples of possible such capital improvements <br />are widening major thoroughfares, installation of ne- <br />cessary traffic signals, and improving community parks. The <br />value of a particular improvement shall be determined by the <br />City's Engineering staff. <br /> <br />Housing Concerns (Total points possible = 15) <br /> <br />1. Provision of Subsidized Housing <br /> <br />0,5,10, or 15 points <br /> <br />-Extent to which the project provides units meeting <br />the Section 8 Program criteria for subsidized rental <br />units and which the developer/owner agrees to make <br />available to qualified tenants at the initial occu- <br />pancy and in the future. <br /> <br />· 5% of the total units in the development - 5 points <br />.10% of the total units in the development - 10 points <br />.15% or more of the total units in the development- 15 points <br /> <br />Note: <br /> <br />Rental limitations for the Section 8 Program <br />are subject to change and, thus, so too is <br />the rental requirement of this section. <br /> <br />-5- <br /> <br /> <br />
