CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79-147 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL PLAN <br />RELATING TO CHANGES IN LAND USE DESIGNATIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council received at its meeting of August 28, 1979 <br />requests that the City of Pleasanton General Plan be amended <br />to change certain land use designations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of August 28, 1979, consid- <br />ered reports, together with attachments, from the Director <br />of Planning and Community Development regarding the proposed <br />General Plan Amendments; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council determined that Negative Declarations were <br />appropriate for the proposed General Plan Amendments and <br />adopted resolutions approving the Negative Declarations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council held a public hearing with respect to each <br />of the General Plan Amendments at which time any member of <br />the public was offered the opportunity to address the City <br />Council on said amendments; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />after the close of the public hearings the City Council delib- <br />erated upon the proposed amendments, considering the informa- <br />tion set forth in the staff reports of the Director of Planning <br />and attachments thereof, as well as the information contained <br />in the initial studies leading to the Negative Declarations <br />for said projects. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council approves amendments to the Land Use <br /> Element of the General Plan, adopted on February 9, 1976 <br /> by Resolution No. 76-26, as follows: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />GP-79-18 - Application of the City Council to amend <br />the Pleasanton General Plan to change the land use <br />designation for a one-acre parcel located at 3963 <br />Stanley Boulevard from "Commercial and Offices" to <br />"Medium Density Residential." <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />GP-79-12 - Application of the Flying "J", Inc., for <br />an amendment to the Land Use Element of the General <br />Plan to change the land use designation of a 60 acre <br />site located immediately south of Johnson Drive and <br />about 700 feet west of Hopyard Road from "General <br />and Limited Industrial" to a combined "Industrial/ <br />Commercial and Offices" designation. <br /> <br />III <br /> <br /> <br />
