Resolution No. 00-016 <br />Page Three <br /> <br />Section 3: <br />Section 4: <br />Section 5: <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton understands that the Surface Transportation Program <br />and Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program funding <br />for the project is fixed at $223,000 and that any cost increase must be <br />funded by the Alameda County CMA or the City of Pleasanton from local <br />matching funds, and that the City of Pleasanton does not expect any cost <br />increases to be funded with Surface Transportation Program or Congestion <br />Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program funds; and <br /> <br />the 1-580 SMART Corridor, Phase II, project will be built as described in <br />this resolution, and if approved, for the amount shown in the Metropolitan <br />Transportation Commission (MTC) Transportation Improvement Program <br />(TIP) with obligation occurring within the time frame established below; <br />and <br /> <br />the program funds are expected to be obligated by September 30, 2002 for <br />non-operating projects and by September 30, 2003 for operating projects. <br /> <br />A copy of this resolution shall be transmitted to the MTC in conjunction with the <br />filing of the application. <br /> <br />MTC is requested to support the application for the project described in the <br />resolution and to program the project, ifapproved, in MTC's TIP. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
