14. 15. That notification be given to all.commercial users between the subject property and Hopyard Road prior to the commencement of street widening. That the street widening be done as rapidly as possible and good access maintained to all adjacent properties during widening. That if any fill is required for the site, it shall be transported to the property via the freeways rather than City streets. That the motel be constructed to meet State noise standards. That if found to be necessary a wall to screen the pool area from freeway noise be constructed along the northern perimeter of the pool area, the design, location and timing of construction of the wall shall be determined by the City staff. That the cylindr~cally shaped portions of the motel be striated in order to create shadow effects. That the street number of the buildings be posted so as to be easily seen from the street at all times, day and night. That all ducts, meters, air conditioning equipment, and any other mechanical equipment, whether on the structure, on the ground, or elsewhere, be effectively screened from view with materials architecturally compatible with the main structure. That all mechanical equipment be construcKed in such a manner that noise emanating from it will not be per- ceptible at or beyond the property plane of the subject property in a normal environment for that zoning district. That all lighting be constructed in such a manner that glare is directed away from surrounding properties and rights-of-way. That all trash and refuse be contained completely within enclosures architecturally compatible with the main structure. That all trees used in landscaping be a minimum of 15 gallons in size and all shrubs a minimum of 5 gallons. That if signing for the development is desired, a com- prehensive signing program be submitted to the City for consideration under separate application. That 6" vertical ~oncrete curbs be installed between all paved and landscaped areas.
