CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 79-212 A RESOLUTION APPROVING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH MACKAY & SOMPS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR PICO AVENUE EXTENTION WHEREAS, the extension of Pico Avenue from Vineyard northerly across the Arroyo Del Valle is an approved project and funds in the amount of $75,000 are included in the adopted 1979-80 Budget for preliminary engineering and purchase of right-of-way; and WHEREAS, in order to proceed with this project certain surveying and preliminary engineering must be done to establish the right- of-way to be acquired; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities, in his report to the City Council dated November 2, 1979, recommended that a proposal from MacKay and Somps to do the engineering work be approved and the City Manager be authorized to sign an agreement embodying said proposal. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the proposal from MacKay and Somps to do the engineering work in connection with the extension of Pico Avenue from Vineyard northerly across the Arroyo Del Valle, attached hereto as Exhibit A. Section 2. Authorizes the City Manager to execute the agreement with MacKay and Somps related to the engineering work for the above project. Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately.
