CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 79-224 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DESIGN OF A MCDONALD'S RESTAURANT PROPOSED FOR THE 1.6 ACRE PARCEL LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF PIMLICO DRIVE AND SANTA RITA ROAD WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 13, 1979, the City Council received a report from the Director of Planning and Community Develop- ment dated November 6, 1979, together with attachments, recom- mending that Council uphold the action taken by Planning Com- mission on October 10, 1979, and the Design Review Board on October 11, 1979, approving Case UP-79-14; and Z-79-73; and WHEREAS, after the public hearing at its meeting of November 13, 1979, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 79-222, approving a negative declaration for the project, and Resolution No. 223, approving a Conditional Use Permit to allow the construction and operation of a McDonald's Restaurant on the 1.6 acre parcel located at the northeast corner of Pimlico Drive and Santa Rita Road; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the design of a McDonald's Restaurant (application Z-79-73) proposed for the 1.6 acre parcel located at the north- east corner of Pimlico Drive and Santa Rita Road, subject to all conditions set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto, and approves allowing the monument sign to be installed on the site and the free-standing sign to be 20' with the design to be approved by staff. Section 2. This resolution shall be effective immediately.
