CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-13 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />APPLICATION OF PLEASANTON SURGERY CENTER TO REZONE <br />A 34,000 SQ. FT. PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED AT 4444 <br />BLACK AVENUE TO THE REAR AND SIDE OF THE LYNNEWOOD <br />METHODIST CHURCH SITE FROM THE "P" (PUBLIC AND IN- <br />STITUTIONAL) DISTRICT TO THE "0" (OFFICE) DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of January 80 1980 <br />received a proposed negative declaration for the <br />application of Pleasanton Surgery Center to rezone <br />an approximately 34,000 square foot parcel of land <br />located at 4444 Black Avenue to the rear and side <br />of the Lynnewood Methodist Church site from the "P" <br />(Public and Institutional) District to the "0" (Of- <br />fice) District (hereinafter referred to as the Project); <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed application for <br />rezoning is a project for the purposes of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental <br />Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City <br />Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. <br />77-66 was prepared for the Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of January 8, 1980 <br />also received that Initial Study dated December 12, <br />1979; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution <br />No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Nega- <br />tive Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on <br />the proposed environmental assessment, which had been <br />published in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of gen- <br />eral circulation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact <br />Report as they pertain to requirements for Negative Dec- <br />larations and Environmental Imapct Reports. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />III <br /> <br /> <br />
