CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-12 A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE E%~IRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR PUD-79-13 AND APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF JOHN CAROLINE TO REZONE THE 69-ACRE SITE LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF VALLEY AVENUE IMMEDIATELY EASTERLY OF THE RESI- DENCES ALONG KOLLN STREET FROM THE I-P (INDUSTRIAL PARK) DISTRICT TO THE PUD-INDUSTRIAL (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT- INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICT. WHEREAS, JOHN CAROLINE has applied for approval to rezone the 69-acre site located on the south side of Valley Avenue immediately easterly of the residences along Kolln Street from the I-P (Industrial Park) District to the PUD-Industrial (Planned Unit Development-Industrial) District; and WHEREAS, on December 12, 1979, the Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding this project to review testimony, maps, and reports, and recommended approval of the application for rezoning; and WHEREAS, prior to taking action on the project, the Planning Commis- sion made the finding that the Environmental Impact Report prepared for the project was reviewed and accepted by the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, in recommending approval of case PUD-79-13, the Planning Commission attached 17 conditions, listed in Planning Com- mission Resolution 1834, and attached hereto as Exhibit A and made part of this case by reference; and WHEREAS, the final Environmental Impact Report for this project was submitted to the City Council on January 8, 1980; and WHEREAS, a public hearing on the Environmental Impact Report for this project was held at that meeting, and testimony from the staff and members of the public was taken; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council makes the following findings as to PUD- 79-13: (l) Certifies that the Environmental Impact Report for the proposed rezoning has been completed in compliance with California Environmental Quality Act and State Guidelines. (2) Certifies that the City Council has reviewed and con- sidered the information contained in the Environmental Impact Report prior to the approval of the project. (3) Finds that the project would have a significant adverse impact on the environment with regard to impacts pertain- ing to unstable soils, runoff pollution, noise, air
