WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-164 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />APPLICATION OF JOE MADDEN TO REZONE A 2 ACRE SITE <br />LOCATED AT 3851 VINEYARD AVENUE FROM THE RM-1500 <br />(MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT TO THE PUD- <br />RESIDENTIAL (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT-RESIDENTIAL) <br />DISTRICT AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A 48-UNITMULTI- <br />F~flLYRESIDENFIAL) COMPLEX TO BE LOCATED BEHIND THE <br />EXISTING DUPLEX ON THE SITE <br /> <br />the City Council, at its meeting of June 24, 1980, <br />received a proposed negative declaration for applica- <br />tion of Joe Madden to rezone a 2 acre site located at <br />3851 Vineyard Avenue from the RM-1500 (Multiple Resi- <br />dential) District to the PUD-Residential (Planned Unit <br />Development-Residential) District and Development Plan <br />approval for a 48-unitmulti-familyResidential complexto be located <br />behind the existing duplex on the site (hereinafter <br />referred to as the Project); and <br /> <br />staff has determined that the proposed application for <br />rezoning and development plan approval is a project for <br />the purposes of the California Environmental Quality Act; <br />and <br /> <br />an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact <br />Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of <br />the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared <br />for the Project; and <br /> <br />the City Council at its meeting of June 24, 1980, also <br />received that Initial Study dated June 5, 1980; and <br /> <br />each member of the City Council had a copy of Resolution <br />No. 77-66 at the time of considering the proposed Negative <br />Declaration and Initial Study; and <br /> <br />the public was afforded an opportunity to comment on the <br />proposed environmental assessment, which had been published <br />in the Pleasanton Times, a newspaper of general circulation; <br />and <br /> <br />the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's <br />Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation <br />of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact <br />Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative Dec- <br />larations and Environmental Impact Reports; <br /> <br />III <br /> <br /> <br />
