CONTRACT <br /> <br /> THIS CONTRACT, made and entered into this day of <br /> <br />19 .._, by and a~ong the City of Livermore, hereafter called "LIVERMORE", <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton, hereafter called "PLEASANTON", and the County of <br />Alameda, hereafter called "COUNTY." <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />Whereas the COUNTY and LIVERMORE, and the COUNTY and PLEASANTON have entered into <br />cooperation agreements for the undertaking of Community Development Block Grant <br />(CDBG) activities in the sixth (1980-1981) and subsequent program years; <br /> <br />Whereas the COUNTY receives CDBG funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development (HUD) as an urban county under Title I of the Housing and <br />Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, some of which funds have been <br />budgeted for housing rehabilitation; <br /> <br />Whereas LIVERMORE and PLEASANTON receive CDBG funds as participants in the Alameda <br />Urban County, some of which funds have been budgeted in the sixth (1980-1981) <br />program year for housing rehabilitation; and <br /> <br />Whereas the three jurisdictions have determined that it is mutually beneficial to <br />implement a Housing Rehabilitation Program in the two cities and the unincorporated <br />area of Alameda County, through a cooperative agreement; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Upon execution of this agreement by the three jurisdictions, there will be <br /> established a HoUsing Rehabilitation Program to be administered by LIVERMORE <br /> to serve qualified property owners in the cities of Livermore and Pleasanton, <br /> <br /> <br />
