Housing Authority will not discriminate against <br /> <br />any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, <br />national origin, sex, or ancestry or religion. Housing Authority <br />will take affirmative action to assure that applicants are employed <br />and employees are treated during employment without regard to <br />race, color, sex, national origin, or ancestry or religion, with <br />the goal being that the ethnic composition of Housing Authority's <br />work force component for the project or service will approximate <br />the ethnic composition of the population of Alameda County'. Such <br />action shall include, but not be limited to, employment upgrading, <br />demotion, or transfer; recruitment or recruitment advertising; <br />lay-off or termination; rate of pay or forms of compensation; and <br />selection for training, including apprenticeship, pre-apprenticeship <br />training, and on-the-job training.
