CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-207 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLIHSING CITY POLICY CONCERNING PROJECTS <br />O~ALIFYING FOR THE RAP SET ASIDE FOR LOWER INCOME HOUSING <br />PROJECTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the RAP provides that 10% of the yearly allocation of <br />residential units be set aside for lower-income housing <br />(Sec. 2-20.06(c) of the RAP); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has conducted a public hearing in which <br />the Council received staff reports and public testimony <br />concerning the nature of projects which would qualify for <br />use of the set aside; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to establish a policy governing <br /> the nature of projects eligible to use this set aside <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: That an entire project qualifying as a "lower-income <br /> housing development" would be eligible to use the set-aside <br /> units even though only a portion of the project's units <br /> are lower-income units. <br /> <br />Section 2: That any project in which at least 20% of its units <br /> are available to lower-income households would qualify <br /> as a "lower-income housing development" for purposes of <br /> the set-aside. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON AUGUST 12, 1980 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Councilmembers <br />Councilmember Kephart <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Butler, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> NETH R.
