CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-224 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH MORRISON HOMES <br />REGARDING REVIEW OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE REMAINDER <br />OF HERITAGE VALLEY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Heritage Valley project was originally designed and <br />proposed as a Planned Unit Development under the City's <br />previous planning development ordinance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />in 1976, the City extensively revised its ordinance <br />relating to Planned Unit Development and changed its <br />procedures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />the Planning Department and Morrison Homes have been in <br />discussion for several months as to what procedures <br />ought to be used with regard to the limitations of the <br />Morrison Tract; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> <br />as a result of these negotiations a compromise allowing <br />the City to review the new proposal in a manner similar <br />to that required by present ordinances, but which in form <br />does not require additional formalities not provided for <br />under the previous regulations. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the agreement between the City of Pleasanton <br /> and Morrison Homes Corporation which is attached hereto~ <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the appropriate City officials to execute <br /> the agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON AUGUST 26, 1980 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None E ET~R~' YOR~/~/ <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> es R.
