CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 80-261 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR AN 82 ACRE PARCEL LOCATED AT HOPYARD ROAD AND STONERIDGE DRIVE FROM "GENERAL AND LIMITED INDUSTRIAL" TO "INDUSTRIAL, COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES." WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of October 14, 1980 received a proposed negative declaration for a General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation for an 82 acre parcel located at the northwest corner of Hopyard Road and Stoneridge Drive from "General and Limited Industrial" to "Industrial, Commercial and Offices;" and WHEREAS, staff has determined that the proposed General Plan Amendment is a project for the purposes of the California Environmental Quality Act; and WHEREAS, an Initial Study done pursuant to the Environmental Impact Guidelines and Procedures adopted by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution No. 77-66 was prepared for the project; and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of October 14, 1980 also received that Initial ~tudy dated September 2, 1980; and each me~ber~of the C/%y ,CounCil h~d a copy of Resolution No. 77-66 at .the t~'me of considering the proposed Negative Declaration and Initial Study; and WHEREAS, the public was afforded an opportunity to con~nent on the proposed environmental assessment, which had been published in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation; and WHEREAS, the City Council is aware of the provisions of the City's Guidelines and Processing Procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of Environmental Impact Reports as they pertain to requirements for Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
