EXHIBIT B For the period commencing October 1, 1980, and ending September 30, 1981, the salary ranges and supplementary benefits for confidential employees shall be as follows: I. Salary Ranges. The following salary ranges are effective October 1, 1980. Position Executive Secretary Secretary to the City Attorney Monthly Salary Range $1320 - 1650 1320 - 1650 II. Supplementary Benefits. Medical. Fully paid premiums for either the City Blue Cross Plan or the Kaiser"Sl" Plan with optical and prescription drug options. Medical benefits include a post-retirement medical benefit of premium contributions up to $150 per month for two years after retirement. B. Dental. Fully paid premiums for dental insurance. Life Insurance. Fully paid premiums for life insurance with a value equal to twice the annual salary of the employee. Additional life insurance coverage to be available at the expense of the employee. D. Long Term Disability. Fully paid premiums for long term disability insur- ance. Compensatory Time. Confidential employees may be compensated for overtime worked either by monetary payment or by compensatory time off at the option of the employee. Compensatory time shall accrue at the rate of one and one- half times the overtime hours worked. Compensatory time off which accrues in excess of forty (40) hours must be liquidated by monetary payment. All monetary payments for overtime must be paid not later than the next bi-weekly payroll following the pay period in which the overtime was worked. Utiliza- tion of compensatory time off shall be by mutual agreement between the de- partment head and the employee. F. Vacation. 1. One (1) through four (4) years of continuous service - ten (10) vacation days. 2. Five (5) through ten (10) years of continuous service - fifteen (15) vacation days. 3. Eleven (11) through eighteen (18) years of continuous service - twenty (20) vacation days. 4. Nineteen (19) years of continuous service and more - twenty-five (25) vacation days. G. Payroll deduction for employees wishing to join and participate in City and County Credit Union. Holidays. Holidays shall be as set forth in Section 1109 of the Personnel Rules except that; the state-wide election day is deleted as a holiday, Veterans' Day shall be observed on the eleventh day of the eleventh month and, two floating holidays are added to the holiday schedule. The two floating holidays shall be credited to each employee on July 1 of each year and be observed on a date mutually agreed to by the employee and the depart- ment head.
