e. Construction staking. <br /> <br />Attendance at meetings of City Council, when requested <br />by City staff, for the purpose of presenting and seeking <br />approval of the documents and reports described in <br />subparagraphs a. through c. <br /> <br />Attendance at all other public meetings of City at which <br />matters relating to the assessment district are considered, <br />except routine matters. <br /> <br />Attendance at staff meetings or meetings of property <br />owners upon the request of the City, after reasonable <br />notice. <br /> <br />Telephone consultation with staff members and property <br />owners to answer engineering questions about the assess- <br />ment proceedings. <br /> <br />j. Preparation of change orders as may be required during <br /> the course of construction. <br /> <br />k. Preparation of a final cost schedule after completion of <br /> the improvement and payment of all incidental expenses. <br /> <br />2o The services of Engineer under this agreement shall not <br /> <br />include the following: <br /> <br />Preparation of an environmental assessment to determine <br />whether the improvement will have a significant impact <br />on the environment within the meaning of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act. <br /> <br />b. Preparation of an Environmental Impact Report. <br /> <br />Inspection of the work Of City's contractor and certifica- <br />tion to the City of contractor's entitlement to progress <br />payments. ~ <br /> <br />d. Work on bond segregations and/or subdivision and parcel <br /> maps. <br /> <br />e. On-site construction review or negotiations in connection <br /> with right-of-way acquisition. <br /> <br />The performance by Engineer of services excluded by this <br /> <br />paragraph, if required by City, shall be under separate oral or written <br /> <br />agreement. <br /> <br />3.
