WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WIIEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />~.~{EREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-186 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING GENERAL PLAN A~{NDMENTS <br />TO THE LAND USE/CIRCULATION ELEr{NT FOR THE <br />GENERAL PLAN CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATIONS <br />FOR VARIOUS AREAS THROUGHOUT THE PLANNING AREA <br /> <br />requests for General Plan change to the Land Use/Circu- <br />lation Element of the General Plan have been made <br />concerning various areas throughout the planning area, <br />including the following: <br /> <br />City Council appointed General Plan Review Committee <br />recommendations for 22 changes, known as GP-80-8; <br /> <br />Prudential Insurance Company request to change the <br />land use designation of 573+ acres east of Hopyard <br />Road and north of the Arroy~ Mocho, known as <br />GP-81-1; <br /> <br />Stoneson Development Company request to change the <br />land use designation of 91+ acres between 1-680 <br />and Stoneridge Mall Road, ~nown as GP-81-2; and <br /> <br />Breihl Homes, Inc. request to change the land use <br />designation of 2+ acres at the southeast corner of <br />Pico Avenue and ~alomino Drive, known as GP-80-6; and <br /> <br />the Planning Commission has held public hearings on all <br />of these proposed changes and has made recommendations <br />concerning same; and <br /> <br />a public hearing was held on June 9, 1981, at which time <br />the City Council reviewed the proposed General Plan <br />Amendments covering various areas throughout the planning <br />area and considered all reports, documents, testimony, <br />and recommendations; and <br /> <br />an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for GP-80-8 <br />and on June 9, 1981 a resolution accepting the Environ- <br />mental Impact Report as complete and adequate was adopted; <br />and <br /> <br />the EIR disclosed many possible significant adverse <br />impacts, all of which could be mitigated and reduced to <br />an insignificant level; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Negative Declarations were adopted for the proposed <br /> changes covered in GP-81-1, GP-81-2 and GP-80-8; and <br /> <br /> <br />
