CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAmeDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-221 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH RYLAND RESEARCH, INC. <br />FOR FIRE PROTECTION STUDY <br /> <br />as a condition of approval on recent developments in the <br />north Pleasanton area, developers have been asked to <br />contribute to the cost of a Fire Protection study; and <br /> <br />Wt{EREAS, <br /> <br />Fire Chief Joe Hill has reviewed the qualifications of <br />six firms for preparation of the study and recommends <br />the firm of Ryland Research, Inc; and <br /> <br />WIIEREAS, <br /> <br />as indicated in the attached contract, Ryland Research, Inc., <br />will perform the study for a cost not to exceed $33,500, <br />with actual cost to the City to be determined on the basis <br />of the expense schedule. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the contract with Ryland Research, Inc., for <br /> the preparation of a fire protection study for the north <br /> Pleasanton area at a cost not to exceed $33,500. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorizes the appropriate City officials to execute <br /> the contract. <br /> <br />Section 3.
