DES:sh 12/30/85 <br /> DES:sh 1/19/86R <br /> DES:sh 2/03/86R <br /> · DES:sh 2/20/86R <br /> <br /> shall also appoint a secretary who may be a director. The <br /> Board shall have the power to appoint such additional <br /> officers as it deems necessary. The chairman, vice-chairman <br /> and secretary shall hold office for a period of one (1) year <br /> commencing July 1st of each and every Fiscal Year; provided, <br /> however, the first chairman, vice-chairman and secretary <br /> appointed shall hold office from the date of appointment to <br /> June 30th of the ensuing Fiscal Year. <br /> <br /> (e) Primary and Alternate Directors shall receive <br /> compensation as may be specified by resolution of the Board <br /> for each day's attendance at meetings of the Board or for <br /> each day's service rendered as a Board member by request of <br /> the Board, together with actual and necessary expenses <br /> incident thereto; provided, that such compensation shall not <br /> exceed that amount specified in subdivision (a) of Section <br /> <br /> 6489 of the Health and Safety Code of the State of <br /> California as compensation for members of boards of <br /> directors of sanitary districts established under the <br /> <br /> Sanitary District Act of 1923 (Health and Safety Code S6400 <br /> et seq.), as said subdivision (a) currently provides or may <br /> from time to time be amended, replaced or superseded. <br />IX. Board Meetings. <br /> <br /> A. Regular meetings: The Board shall determine the <br /> <br />frequency of regular meetings and shall specify by resolution the <br />date and hour thereof, and place at which, regular meetings shall <br />be held. <br /> <br /> <br />
