It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to approve Option 3 of the <br />staff report, to approve the fee methodology (and the fee amount generated from this <br />methodology) based on the updated EPS/Task Force methodology and authorize staff to <br />continue the public review process including presentation to the Economic Vitality <br />Commission and the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce. Following the public process, <br />staff will forward a final fee recommendation to the Council. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico would like an adjustment to the COI rate since it can be justified by the <br />nexus. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis did not want to set the fees at this meeting and wanted people to have an <br />opportunity to provide input. <br /> <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> Ms. Ayala inquired about the agenda items for the next few meetings. <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan indicated the major items were regarding the golf course and the city <br />employee pay recommendations were scheduled for September 17. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala wanted to postpone the salary issues until a new Council is seated. <br /> There was no Council support to do that. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked for a status report at the second meeting in November on the <br />Marque progress. Council supported that request. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> <br />No action was required or taken. <br /> <br />9.
