After extensive descussion on. this Foothill=Roadissue,.it was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded bp.,~Councilman~=Gerton that the Planning Commission be instructed to .start proceedings to take the parcel out of the study designation. A substitute motion was' made"by'Mayor Reid and seconded by Councilman Pearson to instruct the Planning Commission.-to consider the R-1-8500 single family zoning designation witha ROD. Mr. Campbell.explained that because this being:+~the first'.hillside development, it was difficult to estimate.the..addi.tional.street mainten- ance costs but felt it would amount to at'least$5OO'.00per year. Mr. Edgar stated that the' Council had, by Resolution No. 72-3, already approved a holding tank permit for the Howard Klien residence to be constructed on this subdivision. ....
