The term shall not be deemed to include any rabbit, fowl, pigeon, sheep, goat, hog or other livestock kept in the open or in an accessory structure. (Ord. 1743, 1998; Ord. 1738 § 1, 1998; Prior Code § 2-5.21(i)) 18.08.250 Illumination, Diffused: "Diffused illumination" means illu- mination by means of light which trav- els through a material, other than the bulb or tubing necessary to enclose the light source, so that the light is spread evenly over the surface of the diffusing material. (Ord. 1743, 1998; Ord. 1738 § 1, 1998; Prior Code § 2-5.22(a)) 18.08.270 Junkyard: "Junkyard" means a site or portion of a site on which waste, discarded or salvaged materials are bought, sold, exchanged, stored, baled, cleaned, packed, disassembled, or handled, in- cluding used furniture and household equipment yards, house wrecking yards, used lumberyards and similar uses; excepting a site on which such uses are conducted within a completely enclosed structure and excepting "motor vehicle wrecking yards", as defined in this Chapter. An establishment for the sale, purchase or storage of used cars or salvaged machinery in operable condi- tion and the processing of used or salvaged materials as part of a manu- facturing operation shall not be deemed a junkyard.
