City Council Minutes Page 1 of 7 December 16, 2025 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES <br />Tuesday, December 16, 2025 <br />7:00 PM <br />Mayor Balch called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at the hour of 7:00 <br />p.m. from the Council Chamber located at 200 Old Bernal Avenue. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Balch <br />Absent: None. <br />REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION <br />City Attorney Sodergren stated there was no reportable action. <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br />Councilmember Eicher removed item 9 from the consent calendar for further <br />discussion. <br />Councilmember Testa removed item 1 from the consent calendar for further discussion. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Mayor Balch opened public comment. The following individuals provided comment: <br />Christine Dillman. <br />Mayor Balch closed the public comment. <br />Mayor Balch recused from item 3 as there is an item for a sign permit for St. Augustine's <br />Church which is within 150 feet of his residence. <br />Mayor Balch provided an oral summary of changes in compensation for local agency <br />executives regarding item 2 on the consent calendar, which amends the employment <br />contracts for the City Attorney and City Manager to increase their salaries by 3.5% <br />effective September 1, 2025. <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Councilmember Gaidos/Councilmember Eicher to approve the <br />consent calendar, except items 1 and 9, as recommended. Motion passed by the <br />following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Balch <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None
