CITY OF PLEASANTON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIC PLAN FY2024-2028 <br />Business Climate Survey Findings <br />According to the 2022 Survey of Pleasanton <br />Business Leaders conducted from January 18 – <br />February 18, 2022, the City of Pleasanton overall <br />rates highly as a place to do business. <br />Survey data on Pleasanton’s amenities indicate that <br />Downtown, recreational activities, the variety of <br />restaurants, the city’s shopping and retail options, <br />and public schools are all highly rated. <br />Ratings related to the amount of affordable housing <br />for employees and entertainment options indicate <br />that these economic development amenities require <br />proactive attention. <br />Table 1: Rating Pleasanton’s Amenities <br />Source: City of Pleasanton Business Climate Survey 2022 <br />*Results for Business Climate Survey question: “Thinking about the <br />amenities or quality of life elements in Pleasanton.
