Recommend City Council introduce an ordinance adding a new chapter 13.20 to Title 13 <br />of the PMC establishing a public art contribution requirement for development and <br />adopt a resolution amending the Master Fee Schedule to add a public art contribution <br />In-Lieu fee. <br /> <br />Heidi Murphy, Director of Library and Recreation, presented the item and answered questions <br />from commissioners. <br /> <br />Commissioners provided comments. <br /> <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Giancola/Simmons to recommend City Council introduce an <br />ordinance adding a new chapter 13.20 to Title 13 of the PMC establishing a public art <br />contribution requirement for development and adopt a resolution amending the Master Fee <br />Schedule to add a public art contribution in-lieu fee, with the recommendation that the in-lieu <br />contribution include only acquisition of the public art, the installation, the maintenance and <br />the restoration of said public art pieces excluding education and programming and not to <br />exceed 10% for administration of the public art program. <br /> <br />The motion was passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Commissioners Baiocchi, Coleman-Knight, Fry, Giancola, Lam, Simmons, Yee, <br />and Chair Song <br />Noes: None <br /> <br />5. Review Fiscal Year 2024/25 Civic Arts Community Grant Midterm Reports <br /> <br />Rachel Prater, Library and Recreation Manager, presented the item and answered questions <br />from commissioners. <br /> <br />Commissioners provided comments. <br /> <br />6.
