Recommend City Council introduce an ordinance adding a new chapter 13.20 to Title 13 of the PMC establishing a public art contribution requirement for development and adopt a resolution amending the Master Fee Schedule to add a public art contribution In-Lieu fee. Heidi Murphy, Director of Library and Recreation, presented the item and answered questions from commissioners. Commissioners provided comments. MOTION: It was m/s by Giancola/Simmons to recommend City Council introduce an ordinance adding a new chapter 13.20 to Title 13 of the PMC establishing a public art contribution requirement for development and adopt a resolution amending the Master Fee Schedule to add a public art contribution in-lieu fee, with the recommendation that the in-lieu contribution include only acquisition of the public art, the installation, the maintenance and the restoration of said public art pieces excluding education and programming and not to exceed 10% for administration of the public art program. The motion was passed by the following vote: Ayes: Commissioners Baiocchi, Coleman-Knight, Fry, Giancola, Lam, Simmons, Yee, and Chair Song Noes: None 5. Review Fiscal Year 2024/25 Civic Arts Community Grant Midterm Reports Rachel Prater, Library and Recreation Manager, presented the item and answered questions from commissioners.
