Review and discuss Youth in Government Day 2026 <br /> <br />Presentation by Michele Crose, Assistant Director of Library and Recreation. <br /> <br />Chair Parikh opened public comment. There being no speakers, Chair Parikh closed <br />the public comment. <br /> <br />4. Select a Youth Commission representative for the Bicycle, Pedestrian and <br />Trails Committee <br /> <br />Recommendation: Select a Youth Commission representative for the Bicycle, <br />Pedestrian and Trails Committee <br /> <br />Presentation by Michele Crose, Assistant Director of Library and Recreation. <br /> <br />Chair Parikh opened public comment. The following individuals provided comment: <br />Sharon Piekarski. <br /> <br />Chair Parikh closed public comment. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kunde and Commissioner Bridenbaugh were nominated to be the <br />Youth Commission representative for the Bicycle, Pedestrian and Trails Committee. <br />The top vote-getter was Commissioner Bridenbaugh, who will serve as the regular <br />subcommittee member, and Commissioner Kunde will serve as the alternate <br />member. <br /> <br />COMMISSION REPORTS <br /> <br />Commissioner Shah provided a report. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED <br /> <br />MOTION: It was m/s by Shah/Gupta to add one of the following items, listed in order of <br />preference, to a Future Agenda Item: <br />1. Foothill Global Women’s Advocacy <br />2.
