The Uniform Mechanical Code, 2024 Edition, as amended and set forth in the California Code of <br /> Regulations, Title 24, Part 4, published by the International Association of Plumbing and <br /> Mechanical Officials is hereby adopted. <br /> B. The Uniform Mechanical Code (UPC)adopted in this chapter by reference is amended by the <br /> following additions, deletions and amendments thereto as set forth in this chapter. Reference <br /> numbers herein are taken from the 2025 California Mechanical Code. <br /> C. These regulations shall be known as the Pleasanton Mechanical Code, hereinafter referred to as <br /> "this code." <br /> D. Where there is a reference in the code to the "Building Official" or"Authority Having Jurisdiction" <br /> it shall mean the "Building and Safety Official" or in the absence of the Building and Safety <br /> Official,the interim, temporary or acting Building and Safety Official. <br /> 20.16.020 CMC Chapter 1 Division I amended. <br /> Chapter 1 Division I Sections 1.8.4, 1.8.5, 1.8.7 and 1.8.8 are deleted. <br /> 20.16.030 CMC Chapter 1 Division II deleted. <br /> Chapter 1 Division II is deleted and replaced by Chapter 20.04. the Pleasanton Building Administrative <br /> Code. <br /> Chapter 20.20 PLEASANTON ELECTRICAL CODE <br /> Sections: <br /> 20.20.010 California Electrical Code adopted. <br /> 20.20.020 CEC Section 89.108.4 is deleted. <br /> 20.20.010 California Electrical Code adopted. <br /> A. The National Electrical Code, 2023 Edition, as amended and set forth in the California Code of <br /> Regulations. Title 24. Part 3, published by the National Fire Protection Association is hereby <br /> adopted, together with appendix C except as set forth in this chapter. <br /> B.
