Chapter 20.04 (Pleasanton Building Administrative Code), Chapter 20.06 (Pleasanton Existing Building Code), 20.08 (Building Code), 20.10 (Residential Code), 20.12 (Plumbing Code), 20.16 (Mechanical Code), 20.20 (Electrical Code), 20.22 (Wildland-Urban Interface Code) 20.24 (Fire Code), 20.26 (Green Building Code), 20.36 (Security Regulations), 20.55 (Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code) and 20.65 (International Property Maintenance Code) of Title 20 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code (Buildings and Construction) are amended as set forth in the attached Exhibit B. SECTION 3. Chapter 18.88 (Off-Street Facilities), Chapter 18.88 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code is amended to be consistent with the Building Codes as set forth in Exhibit C. SECTION 4. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in “The Valley Times,” a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk’s office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be effective January 1, 2026.
